Enhancing Health and Readiness in 2025: A Defense Health Agency Update at HIMSS25

The Defense Health Agency continues to advance its mission of providing high-quality medical care and wellness solutions to 9.5 million beneficiaries, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their families. At HIMSS25, attendees will gain critical insights into the agency’s strategic initiatives during the session Defense Health Agency Update - Enhancing Health and Readiness in 2025. 

This session, taking place on Wednesday, March 5, will be led by Lieutenant General Telita Crosland, director of the Defense Health Agency. The discussion will highlight how DHA is integrating emerging technologies and refining tactics, techniques, and procedures to optimize healthcare delivery, ensuring service members remain mission-ready while improving the well-being of military families and retirees. 

Key topics include the utilization of digital health solutions and artificial intelligence to enhance healthcare access and efficiency, strategies to maintain and improve medical readiness within the Department of Defense and initiatives designed to optimize healthcare services for warfighters, retirees and their families.
