HIMSS Seeks Innovative Emerging Solutions for HIMSS25 Europe Startup Pitchfest Competition

The third annual Startup Pitchfest has begun accepting applications for 2025 competitors, calling the healthcare’s most innovative emerging solutions to compete for a chance to earn brand visibility, mentorship, opportunities to for investment and access to a vast network of resources in health technology. 

Competition finalists will present their solutions on 10 June on stage in front of an esteemed panel of judges and health leaders at the 2025 HIMSS European Conference & Exhibition in Paris. Applications will be open until 11 March 2025.  

Startup Pitchfest was created in partnership with EIT Health to offer a platform for emerging businesses to demonstrate their solutions to mitigate and solve problems faced by health systems and providers.  

Six finalists will be chosen across two categories:  

  • Streamlining Healthcare Through Intelligent Automation: Innovations leveraging automation, AI, data and process enhancements to revolutionize healthcare delivery and enable healthcare professionals to drive meaningful transformation in healthcare. 
  • Expanding Horizons in Health Equity: Innovations that address the full spectrum of health needs across diverse populations, genders, and ages, and aim to tackle underrepresented challenges, promote equity, and highlight critical areas such as women’s health. 

Eligible participants must be an incorporated small or medium-sized enterprise with 50 employees maximum, incorporated in a European Union country or other territory associated with Horizon Europe and received at least €500,000 in private funding or revenue.
