After a three-year pause in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the global healthcare community reunited in September at the 2022 HIMSS Asia-Pacific Health Conference & Exhibition in Bali, Indonesia.
HIMSS22 APAC hosted more than 1,300 professionals from 35 different countries in the first in-person HIMSS conference in the Asia-Pacific region since the pandemic began. The conference aimed to accelerate the digital reform of healthcare in APAC and reaffirm the industry’s commitment to drive digital health to improve health outcomes. The event was held Sept. 26-29.
This year’s program featured 43 sessions on care, data, connectivity and a new dedicated track on digital excellence. HIMSS thought leaders and healthcare professionals took to the stage to spotlight opportunities for health leaders to join forces to promote digital transformation and healthcare innovation.
Healthcare providers in the Asia-Pacific region offered insights on case studies that showcased improved clinical and financial outcomes; and a high-achieving few were spotlit with several HIMSS Maturity Model Stage 7 validations.
HIMSS also hosted its first in-person government roundtable for APAC, designed to show interoperability as a key lever for moving health systems toward more agile and patient-centered delivery of health services.
