Saint Luke’s University Health Network Earns HIMSS Davies Award for Using Clinical Data to Improve Quality of Care

Saint Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN), has been recognized as a 2023 HIMSS Davies Award recipient, making it one of only three healthcare organizations to earn the distinguished award three times.

Based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, SLUHN is a non-profit network of 12 hospitals and more than 300 outpatient sites serving the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania and western New Jersey.

Leveraging a mature and robust data-driven governance structure, SLUHN has a proven track record of identifying opportunities for improved care processes and quickly implementing solutions that enable sustainable improvements in care outcomes.

Advances in anti-microbial stewardship, launching an on-site testing platform to handle the peak waves of COVID-19 cases, and optimizing advanced care planning for patients facing advanced chronic kidney disease were focuses of SLUHN’s work recognized by the Davies Award.
